I am not liking the rumors that I am hearing. If Northport will trade Greg Slaughter and Robert Bollick, their future will be very bleak.

Coach Yeng Guiao is really an amazing coach but without enough talent, it will be hard to trust them to win the championship.
#8 Alaska Aces
I do not think the Jayvee Casio deal will be the last one where Alaska will get the lesser current value. Thus, I need to put them here for now.
#7 Phoenix Super LPG
If they find the right import, Phoenix will have enough to contend for a crown. Especially if we can see a bounce back from Matthew Wright.
#6 Rain or Shine Elasto Painters
I can see their young players growing further in the upcoming tournament. The chemistry and their experience should also be there to have a chance for the crown.
#5 Meralco Bolts
There is a good chance that the Bolts may have reached their ceiling under coach Norman Black. Or maybe, a fresh import could bring out something more from the Bolts.
#4 Magnolia Hotshots
Even though they are the team that ended up in the Finals, Magnolia is the SMC team with the most holes. Can they fill up some of that this tournament break?
#3 Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel
The return of Justin Brownlee will catapult back Ginebra into the favorite category. Although, the question remains if Standhardinger will still be there.
#2 TNT Tropang Giga
They played the best basketball in the Philippine Cup from the start-up to the end of the competition. The question now is, will they bring the right import?
#1 San Miguel Beermen
Do not forget that San Miguel managed to push TNT to a 7-games semifinals series. Fajardo should continue to get healthier. CJ Perez will improve his chemistry with the team. And maybe, coach Leo Austria will finally be replaced.
