Remember that Spin.ph wrote a story about the Alex Cabagnot to Terrafirma trade. That story though, told us that Terrafirma will give up Roosevelt Adams and Simon Enciso.
Now, according to PBA on the Go of Twitter, Adams was not included probably because Barangay Ginebra wanted him.
Although, I will not be shocked too that the real reason why Adams was not included was to avoid again the wrath of the PBA universe of having another lopsided trade.
So, Ginebra wants Adams. According to PBA on the Go, the current offer for Adams is Arvin Tolentino, Jeff Chan and a future pick.
If that future pick is a 1st round pick, the value could actually be in favor of Terrafirma. Adams is a #1 pick but with what I have seen in his first two tournaments in the league, his skill level is not that high in comparison to Arvin.
Arvin exhibited in his rookie season that he has a pretty good potential. Unfortunately, Ginebra is just too deep to give him consistent minutes.
Jeff Chan is a nice name to be on the package but I will not give him that much of a value because of his age and inconsistent shooting.
Nevertheless, adding a future 1st to a Chan, should be good enough to compensate for the difference of the skill level of an Adams and Tolentino.
