PBA Trade Rumors: Ginebra is putting Aljon Mariano in the trade block?

I am pretty sure a lot of Ginebra fans missed their legend, Mark Caguioa. He is now back in the line-up of Barangay Ginebra.

One interesting name that is not part of the line-up, is Aljon Mariano. To be fair, he is currently in the injury list.

Although, we have not heard the news about any injury to Aljon, recently. The latest one came from coach Tim Cone, pointing that Aljon has an injury.

In a way, I am not buying it that the main reason why Aljon is not on the line-up, is injury. I think, there is a legit issue now between Scottie Thompson and Aljon.

Of course, it is all related to what happened to the supposed wedding Scottie this year. Pau Fajardo, the ex-fiancee, is a friend of Aljon and his wife.

Now that Christian Standhardinger has re-signed with Ginebra, and Aguilar is still with them, the reason for the acquisition of Sidney Onwubere is becoming clearer.

There is a good chance that he was acquired as a replacement for Aljon Mariano. Although, Aljon is still with the team.

Maybe, Ginebra is just contemplating the best trade that they can make. Aljon is a good player and may have enticed a lot of good offers.

PBA on the Go, a trade source, is also providing hint that Aljon could be on his way out.
