PBA Free Agency: Chris Banchero is a potential UNRESTRICTED Free Agent and these teams should target him!

 

The first set of unrestricted free-agent in the history of the PBA is upon us. According to Spin.ph, the members of the 2014 PBA draft are now eligible to be Unrestricted Free Agents by this 2022.

So, the moment their contract expires and they did not sign any renewal, they are now considered Unrestricted. That means they can sign with any team that they want to.

After Nard Pinto, the second guy that could be entering the Unrestricted Free Agency is Chris Banchero. So, which team needs him?

Phoenix Super LPG
There is a good argument that Chris Banchero is currently the 2nd best player of Phoenix. He is manufacturing 18.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 2.4 steals, 55% FG and 39% 3FG per game. I do not think Phoenix can win the championship if they will lose him for nothing.

TNT Tropang Giga
By adding Gab Banal without losing anything and winning the Carl Bryan Cruz trade, TNT is now on good form of making a trade-off quantity for quality.

Chris Banchero should be their target as he is playing really well right now and seems to be a good fit with the team because he works hard on defense and capable drive-and-kick player.

Rain or Shine Elasto Painters
The reality is, Rain or Shine is in need of a starting quality point guard. Maybe that guy is Chris Banchero. Just like Phoenix, Rain or Shine emphasizes spacing. So, he should be comfortable, playing for them.
