Stanley Pringle, the best local player of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, will not be playing in the ongoing Governors' Cup because of a Meniscus injury.
The first move for Ginebra to remedy this is to sign John Pinto. Knowing the level of Stanley Pringle, I do not think that is enough.
So, what is next?
According to PBA on the Go, Ginebra is evaluating the injury of Pringle and there is a possibility that they will trade him.
There are several big reasons why this is hard to buy. Pringle is undoubtedly the perfect main guy for Ginebra.
Pringle produced 17.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.2 steals, 44% FG, 35% 3FG and 1.9 three-pointers made per game.
His elite pull-up shooting is the perfect partner to the size and traditional offense of Japeth Aguilar and Christian Standhardinger.
Also, MCL only needs three to six months to heal and most of the time, they heal properly.
Nevertheless, a Pringle for a superstar trade will surely be accepted by the public as a fair one. Can that possibly be the reason?
