2022 PBA Mock Draft 2.0: Ginebra chose their point guard of the future?

Here is the latest mock draft. The draft order was computed using the result of the Philippine Cup and the standings last February 24, 2022.

#1 BWE Sedrick Barefield - His credentials will be the best in the history of the PBA draft that should catapult him at the top of this one. Barefield has the potential to be a star that a team can build around.

#2 DYIP Mikh McKinney - I think Al Francis Chua is still having nightmares about Mikey Williams. How about grabbing the guy that analysts are comparing to him.

#3 BGSM Jason Brickman - If Ginebra sustained their bad performance, they may end up with the best point guard prospect ever. And they badly need a point guard.

#4 ALA Jeremiah Gray - For the company that will acquire Alaska, they may have the ability to draft two future superstars. Gray is hyped to be one of them.

#5 ALA Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser - After grabbing a potential superstar wing, the Alaska-buyer can then select a future superstar bigman. With this two, Teng, Bulanadi, Ahanmisi and Tratter, the future looks bright.

#6 ROS Ethan Elvano - I am suspecting that in this draft, scoring guards will be the main target because of Mikey'success. So, I think Rain or Shine will settle for Elvano knowing his pedigree.

#7 NOR Encho Serrano - It seems like the management of San Miguel Corp. are happy with the performance of Encho. So, I am expecting them to keep him in their camp.

#8 NLEX Taylor Statham - With the acquisition of Justin Chua, NLEX could be looking for a wingman in the upcoming draft. They can get more than that with Statham.

#9 BWE Juan Gomez De Liano - I think the hype of Juan has died down with his bad performance in Japan. Nevertheless, I expect the MVP group to try their best to keep him in their camp.

#10 BWE Lawrence Domingo - Domingo has a good hype behind him that Blackwater could be enticed to catch him at this point. That will give Blackwater with two quality prospects.

#11 ROS Justin Arana - I am a big believer of Arana. And I think he will have enough support to keep himself in the first round of this upcoming draft.

#12 MAG Brandon Bates - Magnolia's biggest need remains to be their frontline. So, Bates could be their best bet in this one. He is big and has the potential to be something.
