PBA Analysis: New team and a new hope!

Even though this pandemic may have been bad in a lot of ways to the league. But it did force the PBA to join the East Asian Super league and this is about to change it for the better.

Not only are we going to witness our favorite PBA teams compete in a tournament of International supremacy but the PBA will also be adding a foreign team for the Governors Cup.  

The team is called Bay Area Dragon. This team is hoping that it can be the face of the Chinese Basketball as it will be having players from China, Hong Kong, Macau and Chinese Taipei.

I love this for the PBA. It seems like it is much easier for them to accept a foreign team as a new squad than a Filipino team. 

Now, this can now be utilized b the Filipino teams as a way to plead their case as expansion squad in the league.

With this ability to compete against international teams, I think the PBA will be a much more enticing product for those who want to join.

If they will let a foreign team be part of the PBA, those local teams should also try to make a case for expansion.

And I strongly believe that PBA expansion could go a long way in improving the parity in the league. The thing that we have been craving for in the past few years.
