PBA Controversy: Blackwater is not a farm team!

Coach Ariel Vanguardia is one of the most interesting characters in Philippine basketball right now. He is a good coach and with a very vibrant personality. 

He was invited to the program of Spin.ph and he was fearless enough to answer the hard questions given by the fans.

Although, he gave an answer that nobody will believe. He said that Blackwater is not a farm team. History will tell us though that, that is a big lie.

But, what interested me the most during the interview is his adamant attitude about their future and willingness to finally build up a team.

When asked about their plan for the #1 pick, he said that the target is a bigman and currently, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser is the biggest name.

And he was really excited about their plethora of 1st round pics. 

But let us think about it. What should Blackwater do to change its image from a farm team into a team that is worth supporting?

I think, two things are a must in accomplishing that.

First, they should keep their picks and their young stars for a minimum of 4 years. Secondly, they should make winning trades.
