Let us continue our series of articles wherein we will name the top trade targets of the eliminated team. For this edition, we will look at Northport Batang Pier and Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
NORTHPORT
Isaac Go –So, Greg Slaughter is the biggest trade piece of Northport. Assuming that Terrafirma may want to have a better performance in the next season, Northport may want to offer Greg for Isaac.
Aris Dionisio – If Greg Slaughter has a big chance of being traded to Magnolia, Northport should target Aris at all costs. The guy is undervalued with very high potential because of his combination of defense, length and three-point shooting.
Alvin Pasaol – If Meralco will be the destination of Greg, I think Alvin should be the main target of Northport. Alvin has superstar potential and will be a good fit to a team that is lacking consistent play-creation.
RAIN OR SHINE
1st round pick – If Rain or Shine has embraced rebuilding, trading a veteran star for a 1st round pick could be a good move.
Troy Rike – I am a big believer of Rike and I think he will be a good fit to Rain or Shine because he is already a willing three-point shooter.
Von Pessumal – Easily the biggest victim of the unending acquisition of San Miguel of superstars. Von needs a chance. Rain or Shine should try and buy low on him.
