X FACTORS

Standhardinger VS Maliksi

In the running stats of realgm.com, Ginebra is currently the most efficient three-point shooting team. Actually, it was used to be Magnolia. But because Meralco was excellent in defending their three-point shooting, their average went down hard. If that will also happen to Ginebra, Meralco will have the upper hand.
If you are not aware, Christian and Allein are currently the top scorers of the two teams that wi be facing in the Finals. I think, they will be vital in this series. The one that can be more consistent and efficient will provide a good advantage to their team.
Meralco was accused to be having an advantage in terms of the referees calling violations and fouls. On the other hand, Ginebra is averaging the lowest number of fouls per game. Whichever side the whistles will support, will surely carry a good level of advantage.
Prediction
This is a very hard prediction to make. Out of all the X Factors, fouls are the easiest call. Ginebra is the better bet to have that.
The other two are toss-ups. I am quite impressed with the way Meralco defended Magnolia from beyond the arc. So, I will go with them to that area. For the last one, I think Maliksi has better momentum. So, by a hair, I am going to pick Meralco
