It is time to continue discussing the trade targets of each team. In this edition, we will tackle the targets of NLEX and Magnolia.
NLEX
Maverick Ahanmisi - High talented guards usually works well under coach Yeng Guiao. If I am not mistaken, Ahanmisi was also a pick of coach Yeng. Just in case Kiefer Ravena fails to return, Maverick could be a good replacement.
Isaac Go - If the rumor is true that Go could be traded this upcoming season, he should be a target of NLEX. He is a giant who has that body build that coach Yeng is very familiar with. He is also a willing three-point shooter already. A trait that coach Yeng is looking for his bigman.
Gab Banal - Actually, NLEX can use any position. Banal, arguably the best 3-and-D player in the league will surely help to further unleash the ability of coach Yeng in maximizing his players.
MAGNOLIA
Isaac Go - I also think that Go will be a good fit with Magnolia. He is capable of stretching the floor with his three-point shooting. He is also easy to put into a role and knowing that Magnolia already have a lot of ball handlers, he will be awesome to be there.
Troy Rike - I have been banging this fit for a while now. Rike has the potential to be ab elite three-point shooting giant. The type of bigman that Magnolia needs.
Top 3 pick - I feel like Magnolia is ripe to take advantage of the name recognition of their core players by trying to trade for a top 3 pick. Like Mark Barroca and Paul Lee played a big part in this era of Magnolia but with Jio's emergence, they can be replace with a much younger superstar. Like, how about a Mikh McKinney or Jeremiah Gray as a running partner to Jio?
