I know that the current finals between Barangay Ginebra and Meralco is really fun. Two teams who are really craving to get that crown.
Fans of the other teams though are also on their feet as they read trade rumors after trade rumors.
I am pretty sure that a lot of the non-San Miguel fans are not happy to read a rumor wherein San Miguel will get Robert Bolick and Jamie Malonzo for Marcio Lassiter and Chris Ross.
And for me, they are absolutely right. There is no way that the rookie with the highest potential and the top scorer and passer of this tournament is only equal to two big names who are near their retirement. Malonzo can be special.
You want to hear a joke? Combine the average points, rebounds and assists of the two SMB legends and that will not surpass the numbers Robert.
I really hope that this trade will not be true. This will further teardown the image of the league, which is already bad at this point.
Actually, even if SMB adds a future 1st, I still see it as an imbalance trade.
Again, we are talking about the scoring champ of this season and top assist guy. And that 6'7 rookie who showed glimpses to be an out-of-this-world type of talent.
Ross and Lassiter are not enough.
