Do you still remember the times when Terrence Romeo is the king of the PBA in terms of scoring? The times when he averaged more than 20 points per game?
Those days are long gone after Terrence was traded to the two most loaded squads in the league, TNT and SMB.
Unfortunately for TNT and now San Miguel, it seems like Terrence is having a hard time finding his footing and consistency.
And this could be one of the reasons for the recent trade rumors stating the possibility that Terrence will be traded for the #2 pick of the upcoming draft.
Another potential driver for this desire to trade Terrence is his personal life controversies. Add his injury issues and I think San Miguel is fine in trying to trade him for a top 2 pick in this upcoming draft.
Like, it is a hard bet that Terrence can ever complete at a conference without getting sideline due to an injury
There is a good argument that having a Mikh McKinney or a Sedrick Barefield or a Jason Brickman is overall better for SMB.
So, I think this rumor has some legs and may happen.
And I am actually interested to see Terrence be the main man again. I think this is the only role that will bring out the best of him.
