In the past two decades of the PBA, the giants are the ones who are running the league.
Actually, even up to this point you can only have a clear chance of winning the crown if you have at least one giant.
Now, the case of Greg is really a very sad ordeal. He is hated by the fans after his sabbatical and now he has find a way of potentially being "banned" from the league.
You can watch the video of Snow Badua, wherein he explained the signs that Greg could be silently banned already from the league through gentlemen's agreement of the officials of the teams.
The clearest sign is the lack of interest from the ten other teams he never played for. He is the biggest player in the league and yet no interest in acquiring him?
This is very unfortunate, but the guy should also realize that he has the majority of the blame. And I doubt if he has learned it.
His decisions for a sudden sabbatical and now his rant against his contract negotiation with Northport were not necessary but he did them.
But, the PBA is also at risk of having a massive controversy soon. What if Greg suddenly released evidence that he was paid an amount higher than the maximum salary allowed in the league?
How can the league defend that?
