PBA Trade Rumors: Converge should trade which star?

We just heard a rumor about a coach that is quite slow in negotiating with players recently. And it seems like there is an obvious culprit.

According to a recent news, Converge is still talking to Maverick Ahanmisi, Abu Tratter and Robbie Herndon. Three Filipino-Foreigners who have big roles last season.

With a new company and new management, it is not an assurance that this three will still have those good roles. Nevertheless, all three of them are proven to be good PBA players.

Now, according to the count of fans, Converge will surpass the maximum number of Filipino-Foreigner players if they sign all of them.

So, let us rank them according to the best fit to be traded.

#3 Abu Tratter
Even with drafting two good prospect bigman in Jeo Ambohot and Justin Arana, I do not think Converge can let go of their starting center. Tratter can still improve and it is hard to find a legit starting center like him.

#2 Robbie Herndon
Next to a legit starting center, I think the second hardest type of player to find in the PBA is big 3-and-D wings like Herndon. So, Converge should try their best to keep him. Especially with their need of three-point shooters.

#1 Maverick Ahanmisi
Ahanmisi is a good big guard to have. I also think that Converge is still not deep enough in terms of number of players who can breakdown the defense. Nevertheless, Ahanmisi is injury-prone and his trade value can deteriorate due to injury issues.
