This is a very interesting match-up because Magnolia is statistically the best defensive team in the league while NLEX is currently #3 in terms of points per game. Yes, this can be an offense versus defense kind of match-up and the defensive team always have the edge.

Assists was clearly the number that was missing for NLEX in their elimination round game against Magnolia and that can be a deciding factor again in this series.

I am pretty sure coach Yeng Guiao will have something for Calvin knowing that it will disrupt the flow of Magnolia. Can Calvin withstand it?

Lastly, these two squads are the best in terms of forcing turnovers. In their elimination round game, NLEX committed more and they got the L.

PREDICTION

There is a chance that this series will be close because of the greatness of coach Yeng Guiao but I will still side with Magnolia knowing that they have more talent to maintain a better assists and turnover numbers.
