It is not yet official but if the reports are true that coach Aldin Ayo already started handling the practice of Converge, it will not be bad to assume that he is already the guy for Converge.
Under the reign of Jeff Cariaso, Converge was a superb defensive squad. We can expect the same with coach Aldin but with a more exciting style.
Coach Aldin is known for his Mayhem defense and this will be a fun defense to watch and see if it will succeed in the PBA.
Now, with a new coach in town, who should be the trade target of Converge?
Chris Ross
Imagine Chris as the head hunter in the mayhem defense of coach Aldin! Ross will not only be a positive inside the court but also outside because he will bring the energy in practice and the experience from winning championships.
Kent Salado
If they do not want a veteran active and dynamic guard like Ross, they can try the younger Salado. I had been advocating for a trade for Kent in the last few months and I think coach Aldin will be perfect for him.
Mac Belo
Belo is known for his defense. Unfortunately, minutes is scarce for him in Meralco. Converge can buy low on him and may even get a starting caliber forward.
