What did you felt as you witnessed the demolition of the Blackwater Elite at the hands of the Bay Area Dragons? Did you feel bad for the league?
Feeling bad for the league is fine as you just witnessed that the level of the International professional teams now are just higher than before and that the PBA failed to cope up.
That 46 points demolition was led by an excellent showing of Myles Powell who was unstoppable and erupted for 41 points.
It clearly showed that the PBA has a lot of growing left to do. Blackwater has the worst roster in the league but still, 46 points is just too much.
I mean, the worst roster in the league should be capable of putting up a fight against Bay Area knowing that Ateneo Blue Eagles almost gave them an L and Bay Area did not have any restriction during that match!
So, why is it the right move to invite Bay Area?
Because the PBA needs to see that their level of play now is not on par with the play of the other professional ball club in the region.
That the level of play in the league can still improve. And that managing to overcome the Bay Area Dragons will be an achievement that Filipino fans will be satisfied to witness.
