PBA Controversy: Rendon Labador is winning against the PBA legends and superstars!

"Hindi tayo mananalo sa puro paawa effect." That was the comment of Rendon Labador that Marc Pingris commented on to challenged him to a basketball match.

Did Rendon made sense? Yes. The comment has a sense. Now, if you want to defend coach Chot Reyes, then attack the argument of Rendon.

Challenging the messenger is basically exhibiting a logical fallacy of Ad Hominem. You attack the personality of the other side instead of his argument.

Marc Pingris did that and he failed to defend coach Chot. The message of Rendon stands. We cannot win with Paawa effect.

And actually, Rendon already won the moment Marc commented to the comments of Rendon. Just remember who  Rendon is.

He is a social media personality. What does he need to earn? He needs attention. To get that attention, social media personality usually do what?

Trending things. Anything. But most of the time, the easiest one is to have issues with other famous personality. With Marc Pingris and other PBA stars like Japeth Aguilar and Calvin Abueva netted in this poisonous web of social media, Rendon is getting more eyeballs by the minute.

We all know that Rendon is not a passable basketball player. The moment he plays in the court against a PBA player and get destroyed, the whole act will be destroyed.

So, I expect him to drag this issue as much as possible and continue cashing in the attention that he is getting.

And the retired PBA legends and current PBA stars will continue to think that they are just playing around Rendon.

The reality is, Rendon is winning with every comment that they make.
