PBA Draft Rumors: 2023 #1 draft pick, which SMC team will get it?

So, the TNT-NLEX-Blackwater trade is already approved by the league. The official trade was tweak to give more to NLEX. The final trade was:

NLEX received Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser and two 2nd round picks
Blackwater received Troy Rosario and Gab Banal
TNT received Calvin Oftana and Raul Soyud

Shockingly, the MVP group was the one who made the first move even though Ginebra had a disappointing Philippine Cup and Magnolia continue to navigate the perennial contender status that is not good enough to win the championship.

Fortunately for them, Terrafirma is doing its job and now they are in position to take the #1 pick of the upcoming draft.

Their biggest rival in the last few years was Blackwater Elite. But Blackwater just had a surprising run in the Philippine Cup.

That will make it hard for Blackwater to catch up with Terrafirma. So, I think Terrafirma is well-positioned to grab the top pick.

Before this last two weeks, I am anticipating a deep draft. But with the most recent actions from the PBA and the SBP, I am starting to anticipate that players will get scared to even consider the PBA.

Nevertheless, their will still be an awesome player their that will be available for the #1 pick. Which SMC team will grab that in the long run?

I am pretty sure that it will not be promised to any of the three. I doubt that it will be Ginebra because they just received the #2 pick of the most recent draft.

It will be between Magnolia and San Miguel and if I am going to bet, I think it will be Magnolia.
