The official line-ups for the upcoming 2022 PBA commissioner's cup is now out and we can assume that the players who are not there are free agents now.
By the way, I agree with the decision that Bay Area Dragons cannot play their two NBA veteran imports in the same game. It is in congruence with the one import rule for the local teams.
Now, the most interesting omission in the rosters is Kelly Nabong. Which team should offer for him?
Meralco Bolts
The most recent run of Meralco in the Philippine Cup clearly shows that they need additional size to compete for the crown. Nabong is their former player and maybe aware of his adventures but I hope they consider him.
Phoenix
Phoenix is also in need of a bigman. What makes Nabong perfect for Phoenix is his willingness to take three-pointers. I think coach Topex has the will to put Kelly on his place.
Converge
Coach Ayo said that they need a bigman because their newly acquired Kris Porter is injured. Kelly is the best bigman available and they can get him and not give up anything.
