Mr. Homer Sayson of Spin.ph made an explosive article about the current situation of the NLEX Road Warriors of the MVP group.
According to the article the plan now is to sell the franchise. Although the reason behind the supposed plan can only be speculated. Thinking about it though, they did not offer the head coaching job to coach Yeng Guiao.
For Mr. Sayson, he said that it is not about the financing of the franchise. But more about the low ticket sales of the PBA.
This article of Mr. Sayson was refuted by a Twitter account called Inside the PBA. The account states that the news is fake.
One guy that we are waiting for his reaction to this is Snow Badua. He is the best insider of the PBA and I think he has the best knowledge of what really is happening inside the league.
So, should we believe this?
I will not be hasten to believe it because of the credentials of a Homer Sayson. I do not think he has a single PBA rumor that he started that became true. Inside the PBA also question the credibility of Homer.
Also, the provided reason of ticket sales is hard to believe knowing that teams are not suppose to partake with the income of the league.
Although, we can say that the official head coach that NLEX will name can be a good indication of the future of NLEX.
