Did anyone predict that Northport Batang Pier will give Bay Area Dragon their closest game so far here in the country?
I did not. What was more impressive was the reality that their import, Prince Ibeh, got into foul trouble. Fortunately, Robert Bolick was on his supreme form, ending up with 33 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists to fight out another explosion by Myles Powell.
Here is the question though, why is Robert still with Northport? Nobody can give a clear answer. What we know though is that he is still bound for one of the three SMC teams.
And a recent social media post by Snow clears which two are the biggest possibility.
According to the post of Snow, Si Borat ang kapalit nyan either yung anemic sa playoffs o yung paparetire ng ironman.
Borat is a movie character that resembles Robert because of the mustache and the white skin complexion. Anemic in the playoffs can be read as a player who plays worse in the playoffs. And that clue will point to Paul Lee of Magnolia knowing that Snow has been the biggest proponent of the bad playoff performance of Paul.
On the other hand, ironman is usually utilized to describe LA Tenorio. So, Ginebra is the other potential destination of Robert.
Which one needs him more?
Actually, both teams needs Robert because of the same reason. A big portion of their current guard depth will be leaving their peak form soon.
For Ginebra, LA Tenorio and Stanley Pringle are not their usual self already. For Magnolia, Paul is already criticized and Mark Barroca will soon get there too.
