Is a roster of Vic Manuel, Chris Ross, CJ Perez, Marcio Lassiter, Moala Tautuaa, Jericho Cruz, Simon Enciso and Robbie Herndon, deserving of a 1-3 record?
Of course no. That is still one of the top 5 most loaded line-up in the league and a 1-3 start is not acceptable. But I am pretty sure you will give a reason for it.
Junemar Fajardo is out.
Yes. Fajardo is out. But the reality remains that the roster is still formidable. Just because their top player is not there, the team is already allowed to play bad.
So, what is the biggest issue of the current team without Junemar Fajardo? History tells me that we should point to the same guy.
The moment Fajardo is out, the team plays bad. Last season, Fajardo did not play like the Kraken. San Miguel did not do that much.
When Fajardo was recovering from his injury. San Miguel played like a team with one of the most loaded line-up but not one of the elite.
It all boils down to coaching.
Should coach Leo be fired?
Realistically, nope. Because Fajardo can return during the playoffs. Here is the problem though. Can San Miguel even reach the playoffs?
