Phoenix Super LPG is having a rough start in their 2022 Commissioner's Cup, on and off the court. They managed to get their first win after three weeks into the tournament.
While off the court, the franchise is now on sale as Phoenix the company is having a hard time paying the debts that they have accumulated.
This is the reason why fans did not notice that JV Mocon has been successful in filling up the shoes of Matthew Wright.
In the first three games of Phoenix, Mocon manufactured 19.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.0 block, 53% FG and 45% 3FG per game.
I just read a trade rumor about him. According to the rumor, San Miguel Beermen is interested on him. And that is easy to believe.
Why?
Because San Miguel is literally without a usable forward in their team! Check their line-up. They do not have a credible forward.
And of course, Mocon is one of the best in-prime forward in the league. I just hope that if a trade happens, Phoenix will do the right thing and ask for the right package.
