Ginebra legend Justin Brownlee or Converge Quincy Miller, who should be the NEXT Gilas Import?

Even though I was against some of the big decisions of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas this year, I still retained respect to them because they are running it with private money.

Suddenly, they asked for help for the upcoming hosting of the 2023 FIBA World Cup. If that will be approved, fans then have the right to be heard because our hard-earned money will now be utilized by SBP!

So, it was disappointing when it was revealed recently that SBP has failed to work on the naturalization of Justin Brownlee and Cameron Oliver. The two imports that they named as top Naturalize candidate!

Now, there is another great candidate for naturalization. Did you ever imagine that another NBA veteran will ask for a chance to represent our country?

That is the case for Quincy Miller. Miller is currently leading Converge into the top of the standings in this elimination round of the 2022 Commissioner's Cup.

He is the perfect bigman for Gilas! He is really a good three-point shooter and we do not have a local bigman that can take that role! 

Add his amazing rim protection and help defense and Miller seems to be the perfect fit for Gilas. Imagine him doing a pick-and-roll with Kai Sotto. Imagine him being the rim protector behind Dwight Ramos lockdown defense.

So, is Quincy Miller the better choice than Justin Brownlee of Ginebra?

Not really. Because there is no need to choose. They can file for both guys.
