PBA Power Ranking: Top 5 Best Player of the Conference Candidate!

The presence of Bay Area Dragons has made this 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup, one of the most exciting tournament in the last several years.

The race to the top of the standings is not the only exciting race right now. Even the race for the Best Player of the Conference award.

Here is my top 5 candidates!

#5 Jamie Malonzo
Believe it or not but Malonzo is actually the current top local scorer of Ginebra. He is averaging 13.8 points, 59% FG, 41% 3FG, 7.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 block per game. It is quite amazing that his efficiency really pumped with better teammates around him.

#4 RR Pogoy
RR is easily one of the streakiest shooter in the history of the PBA. He is so hot right now that he is averaging 3.7 three-pointers made per game in 49% efficiency. Add his consistent defense and RR has been one of the best two-way wing in this tournament.

#3 Javee Mocon
I Think Tyler Tio is getting more of the spotlight for the current torrid winning streak of Phoenix. I think Mocon has more impact on more areas compared to Tyler. He is currently producing 16.0 points, 44% FG, 38% 3FG, 6.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game.

#2 Jiovani Jalalon
As usual, Magnolia is having a pretty balance offensive distribution. Overall, Jalalon is looking like the Hotshots that is performing the best in the most number of areas. He is currently #2 in assists and #3 in steals for local players.

#1 Robert Bolick
Robert is having another monster tournament. He is currently #1 in terms of scoring passing. With the Snow Bomb about his future, there is a good chance that his performance will be affected moving forward. Will it be positive or negative? Only Robert can give us the answer.
