We are highly anticipating the next batch of Unrestricted Free Agents. These are the players coming from the 2015 PBA draft.
This is the series of articles wherein we will talk about the top 3 that should offer for each team. We already did these for two of the class.
For this one, we will talk about the rising star from Converge, Maverick Ahanmisi. He was drafted as the #3 pick in that 2015 draft.
#3 Magnolia Hotshots
Magnolia may want to reunite the Ahanmisi brothers. Maverick will bring something different to the guard position of Magnolia because he will be much bigger than Mark Barroca and Jio Jalalon. With that size, Magnolia can then play a hefty backcourt of Maverick and Paul Lee.
#2 Phoenix Super LPG
Another team looking for a big guard is Phoenix. Phoenix have a plethora of awesome small guards from their young tandem of Tyler Tio and Encho Serrano to the dependable veterans RJ Jazul and RR Garcia. Maverk will bring something different with his size and ability to take advantage of the other tiny guards in the league.
#1 Converge Fiber Xers
I think Converge should keep him. He is getting comfortable with his role as he currently averaged 10.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals per game. I also think that coach Aldin Ayo is fond of him and gave him a crucial role in the team.
