One of the swaggiest scorers in the NBA in the last decade was Nick Young. He was even called Swaggy P because of his swag in scoring the ball.
There is no question that Nick Young can score at the NBA level. He ended up averaging 11.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 38% 3FG per game.
His best tournament was 2014 when he averaged 17.9 points per game. And mind you, he was playing for the Los Angeles Lakers during that year!
In short, he can easily embrace the spotlight. With his swag and confidence, I am pretty sure he will attract a lot of fans.
The question now is, can he play for the upcoming 2023 PBA Governors' Cup? The biggest hurdle is the height limit for imports, which currently stand at 6'6.
If you look at the profile of Young, he is 6'7. So, he is not eligible, right?
Actually, he could be eligible. The 6'7 height is with the shoes. The 6'6 height limit is without shoes. And without shoes, Nick is only 6'5.
If the height is fine, then it can be a matter of money. Will the rich teams of the PBA pay him to play as their import?
