With the arrival of Governor Delta Pineda as team manager of Converge Fiber Xers, it is logical to believe that he wants to get the legends from Pampanga.
Delta is the patron of the most successful provincial-wide basketball program in the country. And with him being the leader of Pampanga, I am pretty sure that he wants to build up his constituents.
One of the guy that is a famous local of Pampanga is Arwind Santos. Now that he is not part of the main teams of San Miguel Corporation, he should be an easier target for Converge. So, what are the offers that they should consider?
Allyn Bulanadi and Jeo Ambohot for Troy Rike, Arwind Santos and Jerrick Balanza
This one is complicated but it make sense in my eyes. Converge will give up two good young players in Bulanadi and Ambohot.
Ambohot is a #3 pick. So, the potential to become something special is really there. Although, he is not getting the opportunity in his rookie season with Converge. Bulanadi is struggling but the guy has glimpses of becoming a starter.
Northport easily benefits from this exchange because Troy is already not in the country and Santos is already near his retirement.
Jeo Ambohot for Arwind Santos and Jerrick Balanza
Remove Troy Rike and Bulanadi and you have a much easier to digest. A #3 pick for a retiring superstar and a role player. That should be an easy yes for Northport.
