Here is the round 2 mock of the 2023 draft!
#1 DYIP Kyt Jimenez - The Dyip already drafted two quality players in Round 1. Drafting for some marketing reasons will not hurt at this point.
#2 XERS Ricci Rivero - I will be surprised if Converge will not catch Ricci in the 2nd round. With his injury, I do not think Rivero will be part of the round 1.
#3 PHX King Caralipio - I think Caralipio is the type of wing that Phoenix is missing. A hardworker who can helped in controlling the rebound.
#4 ROS John Amores - I think John Amores is the perfect pick for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. Add him to Rain or Shine and suddenly the vibes around the team Is back to the classic rugged team of coach Yeng.
#5 BWE BJ Andrade - Coach Tab Baldwin has given excellent praises for BJ. I will not be shocked if he can b the next Tyler Tio.
#6 BWE James Kuwekuteye - The limit to Filipino-Foreign players in each team can be the reason for James to slide into the 2nd round. But, he can easily rise to top 6 depending on the depth of the draft.
#7 NLEX JB Bahio - We all know the connection of San Beda to the MVP group. Add the fact that coach Frankie Lim is a past coach of San Beda and this choice will make sense.
#8 TNT Ken Tuffin - Unless he blows away the scouts during the draft combine, Ken can really slide to the 2nd half of the 2nd round by choosing to play in New Zealand.
#9 XERS Louie Sangalang - With the connection of Pampanga to Converge, I expect them to grab Sangalang. He is a physical bigman that needs to develop his skills to establish a long PBA career.
#10 DYIP CJ Payawal - Is there a chance that CJ was not used properly in UE? With his height and ability to create his shots, CJ is a very interesting fit to Terrafirma.
#11 BGSM Christian David - With the impending retirement of Jared Dillinger, Ginebra will have a slot for a Fil-Foreigner. Christian is a great bet at this point of the draft.
#12 ROS Warren Bonifacio - A consistent performer in NCAA will complete a potential perfect draft by Rain or Shine. They got two potential superstars, their coach Yeng guy and a hardworker in a single draft.
