PBA Rumors: Sangalang's rumored retirement is a GREAT THING for Magnolia!

Giant center is the most important ingredient of a championship team. For Magnolia, that ingredient in the last few years has been Ian Sangalang.

He is not as dominant as Junemar Fajardo but he is very reliable in his own accord. He is currently averaging 12.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 46% FG per game.

We heard from coach Chito Victolero that Ian could be out for the remainder of the season because of a sickness. They did not reveal what it was.

Now, a rumor popped in the weekends that retirement could be a legit option now for Ian due to this undisclosed illness!

Of course, Magnolia fans were sad upon hearing the news. Ian has been so reliable for them that missing him for the upcoming playoffs is almost a guarantee of failure.

Although, I actually think that it could be a good thing for them long-term. Snow Badua said that the rumor retirement is not true.

This could be the wake up call for the management of Magnolia to finally make the big moves that their franchise badly needs! Remember, they did not make a trade last year!
