I am pretty sure that Magnolia fans are not the happiest people this week. Their team fought well in the elimination round and ended up with a good card but still, they will need to overcome a twice-to-beat disadvantage to advance.
What should make them feel better is the fact that Sangalang has denied the rumor of a retirement. Although, his health issue is real.
Now, with his health issues and with how close Ian is to the team manager of Converge, can the two PBA teams help each other by making a deal?

Worst - Ian Sangalang for TNT 1st, Jeo Ambohot
I am not giving up on Ambohot even with his abysmal numbers. Bigman are just notoriously slow in terms of development. But considering everything, I do not think Jeo and 1st is a win, trade value wise, for Magnolia.
Fair - Ian Sangalang for Maverick Ahanmisi
Maverick is having his breakout tournament. He is averaging 20.1 points, 50% FG, 41% 3FG, 6.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Ian still one of the top giants in the league. Both have bad health histories. Considering the supply of their positions, this will be an excellent exchange for the two teams.
Best - Ian Sangalang for Maverick Ahanmisi and TNT 1st
It will be a big trade win for Magnolia if they can push Converge to over value the stature of Ian as one of the top giants in the league. Ahanmisi should be capable of covering the trade value of Ian already. Having an extra 1st is a superb win for them.
