We should be aware by now that Magnolia has been the slowest team in terms of making trades. They did not make a single trade last year!
One trade that Snow Badua reported this year was with NLEX and Northport. In that trade Magnolia will get Don Trollano. NLEX will received Joshua Munzon and Javi Gomez de Liano. And Northport will end up with Paul Lee.
If that was really the trade, I think Magnolia missed a big one! A trade that is just what the doctor orders for their squad.
Trollano is currently averaging career high numbers this season. He is putting up 16.4 points, 47% FG, 45% 3FG, 5.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game
The biggest improvement that Don has showed all throughout his career was his shooting. And this year, he was one of the top 3 shooters in the league! The guy was averaging 2.4 makes per game!
Paul Lee is also an excellent shooter. But there is a big difference between Don and Paul. Don is a very good defender. So, he will be an upgrade on the defensive end while he is also capable of handling himself on the offensive end.
I doubt NLEX will accept this trade now.
