Here is our latest mock draft!
#1 DYIP Justine Baltazar - It seems like Baltazar dominating MPBL will be enough to catapult him as the top bigman option for Dyip. The question now is, can Converge successfully trade for him?
#2 BWE Sedrick Barefield - It will be hard for Blackwater to say no to a prospect like Sedrick if he truly enters the draft. He can easily become the main point of their attack.
#3 ROS Luis Villegas - According to coach Yeng, he is looking for a bigman. Villegas is a bigman and he is that modern-type of bigman that coach Yeng loves.
#4 ROS Zavier Lucero - I understand that Zavier is injured but with the depth of the guard rotation of Rain or Shine, getting a versatile forward with the other pick could be the proper decision.
#5 NOR Deschon Winston - It will be perfect for Northport if Winston will fall knowing that they need someone to replace Bolick. Bolick is more than capable.
#6 NLEX James Kuweketeye - It seems like coach Frankie Lim wants to erase the smell of coach Yeng in the roster construction of NLEX. So, adding a big guard could be the next step.
#7 PHX Keith Datu - It will be a dream for Phoenix if they have a lot of options for a giant center when they turn comes in. Datu is the most interesting one at this point.
#8 MER Henry Galinato - Even with their trade for Norbert Torres, I think Meralco will still have the desire to add another bigman and most likely it will be someone from UP.
#9 XERS Brandon Bates - Regardless if Converge will keep this pick or use it to trade for Justine, I expect Bates to be taken at this point. He is a player of coach Aldin in DLSU.
#10 XERS Ricci Revero - If they fail to get Baltazar, getting two DLSU boys could be the dream for Converge. I actually think that Rivero still have a high ceiling for a prospect.
#11 NOR CJ Lane - Frank Yu will be an option here but with Winston there already, getting the most promising giant big is the better decision.
#12 DYIP Will Gozum - Gozum is still deciding if he will enter the draft. I think, it is time for him to do it. And I expect Terrafirma to still go for a bigman with this pick.
