In the modern world of basketball, the ability to stretch the floor is one of the most important skill. Players who cannot shoot from beyond the arc are having a hard time to remain in the league.
Now, the ability to hit three-pointers is not only required from guards and wings. Even the centers are now being asked for it.
Who are the top stretch centers in the league?
#5 Brandon Rosser
I thought Brandon will be a traditional bigman in his first few years in the league. Instead, he is already taking threes and even the advance ones. His efficiency is not yet there but he is already attracting defenders!
#4 Beau Belga
In terms of efficiency, Belga is inconsistent. But the guy is known to be one of the reliable stretch bigs for a while now that even with his bad efficiency numbers, he can still stretch the floor.
#3 Norbert Torres
Every bigman in Rain or Shine is required to learn to shoot three-pointers. Torres just delivered his best one with 1.1 makes per game with 42% efficiency.
#2 Aldrech Ramos
Ramos is the most consistent shooting center in the past several years. Although his numbers are down this year to 35% with less than one make per game.
#1 Jamie Malonzo
I know that Malonzo is playing more of a forward than a center. Nevertheless, with his 6'7 height, he can easily play the center position. So I considered him and with the way he plays, he is easily the top shooting center available in the league.
