As we wait for the start of the PBA On Tour Preseason tournament, we can again talk about each team in a series of article!
For this one, we will talk about the type of player that each team can target. With the different roster construction, it is fascinating to actually talk about it.
For this edition, we will continue with Magnolia, TNT and the Meralco Bolts.
Magnolia - Three-point shooter
Magnolia finally made a trade! They added Abu Tratter and gave up their #10 pick. Talent wise, Magnolia has now improved. Unfortunately, Tratter will not help in their biggest need. They need to have better spacing. In the Commissioner's Cup, they were the last place in terms of three-pointers made. In the Governors' Cup, they were 10th. Imagine if they can get Lassiter from San Miguel?
TNT - Center
Kelly Williams could retire again. JP Erram has a lot of issues. Justin Chua is recovering from a very bad injury. They badly need a center. It is a position that is hard to find. Especially for TNT who needs to find a good one. Can they find a way to get Moala Tautuaa back from San Miguel?
Meralco - Center
Meralco is in the same situation with TNT. They cannot rely the center position to Raymond Almazan and his back-ups anymore. They need to find another reliable center. That is why it I think they should really consider a trade with Converge even if it means they will give up Quinto.
