We have been tackling the desire of Converge Fiber Xers of drafting Justine Baltazar. The question now is, will Converge trade for the right pick?
The pick that will assure them totally that they will get Baltazar is the #1 pick. But, the upcoming draft could be loaded enough that Baltazar could still be available after the #1 pick.
What if Justine is still there at #3?
Let us give the best, realistic and worst trade that can happen in the point of view of Converge. Rain or Shine is a willing trader. Converge just need to present the right package.
Best - Jeo Ambohot and Mike Tolomia
Knowing that Ambohot's trade value plummeted in the most recent season because he did not get enough playing time, it will be perfect for Converge if Rain or Shine will accept him as the main return. Giving up a veteran guard with him will not hurt Converge.
Realistic - #9 and #10
The realistic possibility is for Rain or Shine to ask for the two late 1st of Converge. If the draft is deep, getting two high quality prospect could be good enough for Rain or Shine knowing their limited financial capacity.
Worst - Justin Arana
If you are a fan of Converge and you think Arana is safe from a trade to get Baltazar, think again. I am pretty sure Governor Delta value Baltazar more and Arana could be given up just to get him.
