Northport Batang Pier is easily one of the most agonizing franchise in the past several years of the league. They actually built a fan base during their time as Powerade and even during their Globalport days.
They have several superstars in the past several years. All of those were for naught in the last few years as they still chose the path that they should not have taken.
So, it is time to give our Win-Win trade suggestion for Northport with Ginebra, NLEX and Phoenix!
Ginebra-Northport
Jeremiah Gray, Jayson David, Two Future 1sts for Arvin Tolentino
In this trade, Northport basically went full tank mode. Gray will not play in the next season but with the modern technology, he can still comeback and reach his potential. David is promising. And then add two future 1sts and Northport will also fight for the #1 pick of the next draft.
NLEX-Northport
#6, Matt Nieto and Philip Paniamogan for Will Navarro
Navarro is coming of an injury but he is still a blue-chip prospect. So, Northport should get a satisfying package. They will get a god enough pick. A promising young guard in Matt and a veteran gunner in Philip.
Phoenix-Northport
#6, Troy Rike and Kent Salado for Tyler Tio
Phoenix can sell high on Tyler if Troy Rike is willing to return. I still think that Troy is a unicorn that can open something unique in the league. Getting the #6 pick and an underrated Salado will make it worth it to give up Tio.
