PBA Trade Rumors: NLEX wants to make a LOT OF TRADE?

NLEX is gearing up for a roster overhaul as they set their sights on clinching their first Commissioner’s Cup title in the Philippine Basketball Association, with the tournament scheduled to commence on October 15.

Head coach Frankie Lim shared with DAILY TRIBUNE that the team aims to reinforce its lineup following their exit from the semifinals in the previous Governors’ Cup.

Lim revealed that they are placing their hopes on the upcoming Rookie Draft, where they hold the seventh overall pick as part of a prior deal involving Tyrus Hill's transfer to Converge last year. Although they were initially slated to possess another first-round pick, it was subsequently traded to Phoenix Super LPG in a separate transaction.

Preparations are already underway for the Road Warriors, with their training set to resume on Monday. Lim emphasized that their strategy hinges on the draft, intending to select the best available player to kickstart their rebuilding process. Additionally, they plan to explore trade opportunities involving both current and prospective players to fortify their roster.

Considering the upcoming conference's dynamics, Lim acknowledged the significance of choosing an import who would contribute effectively to their campaign. Reflecting on the previous season, where they began strongly with NBA veteran Jonathon Simmons before transitioning to Wayne Selden, Lim stressed the importance of aligning the team's strengths with the attributes of their chosen import to maximize their chances of success.

NLEX players are actually named in several trade rumors. I am talking about Brandon Rosser and Don Trollano.
