This year, the free agency season was really hot. Two big names from Converge went to two of the San Miguel Corporation teams.
So, it is time to rank the top 5 signings this offseason.
#5. Jollo Go - Meralco
Go will not be as good as RK Ilagan in handling the ball but in terms of three-point shooting, he could be worth the shot. If he can be a very efficient sniper, he will fill a need for the Bolts.
#4. Kim Aurin - TNT
The top 2 local player of TNT are missing in this Commissioner's Cup. Adding a player that can comfortably create his shot is a good decision by the management. Aurin is big enough that defensively, he could be fine.
#3. Jeron Teng - San Miguel
Teng is hated but the guy is a top 50 player in the league. If his improvement in his efficiency from beyond the arc continues, Jeron could be a big piece for the Beermen.
#2. Joseph Eriobu - Magnolia
I have been a believer of Eriobu for a while. Finally, he will get his chance to prove himself in the main league. The guy is versatile defensively and will do a lot of things offensively.
#1. Maverick Ahanmisi - Ginebra
Ginebra needs firepower. Maverick will bring that. They need someone to be capable of creating shots for himself. Maverick can do that.
