NLEX swiftly secured Stokley Chaffee as the new import for the PBA Commissioner's Cup, wasting no time in addressing the import position following the departure of Thomas Robinson after just four games into the season.
The 26-year-old center from Tennessee State was warmly welcomed by the NLEX management, headed by governor Ronald Dulatre and coach Frankie Lim.
Standing at 6 feet 9 inches, Chaffee is stepping into his role with immediate challenges, as NLEX is set to go up against the undefeated Magnolia team on Friday in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The Road Warriors are counting on Chaffee's skills and contributions to make a positive impact as they navigate through the competition.
We are not a fan of the decision of NLEX of firing Thomas Robinson because of what Thomas has given that inside the court.
Fortunately, I think they found an interesting replacement in Stokley. He is an explosive play-finisher and he has the size to be a positive on the defensive end.
