PBA Imports Highlights: Rain or Shine replaced their NBA veteran import!

Rain or Shine is making a decisive move to shake up its struggling campaign in the Season 48 PBA Commissioner's Cup, bidding farewell to Dajuan Summers, who failed to spark a turnaround in their winless 0-4 start.

Stepping into the spotlight is the newly acquired import, Demetrius 'Tree' Treadwell, a 32-year-old veteran whose career has been predominantly in Israel since his last stint with the University of Akron Zips in 2014.

While not known for flashy plays, Coach Yeng Guiao sees Treadwell as a potential game-changer for Rain or Shine, especially in addressing concerns on the boards where the team has been lacking.

Treadwell swiftly joined the squad on Sunday, right after Rain or Shine's 107-102 defeat against Barangay Ginebra, which left them languishing at the bottom of the 12-team standings, tied with Converge.

The 6-7 Treadwell is gearing up for his PBA debut, set to showcase his skills in an 8 p.m. clash against San Miguel on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The Elasto Painters are hoping that this change will bring a positive shift to their Commissioner's Cup campaign.

With what I saw, I do not think Treadwell is the right fit for them. He is not a reliable scorer and I think that is the most crucial trait that Rain or Shine needs.
