The current situation of TNT is so dire. And that is very sad because they are the most recent champion of the league. They ended the reign of Barangay Ginebra in the Governors' cup.
Now, it is not shocking to hear from Snow Badua, that they are targeting blue chip prospects from the Blackwater elite.
In this article, I will give the Win, Fair and Loss trade in the point of view of Blackwater if TNT will choose to grab Suerte first.
Win - Rey Suerte for TNT 1st and Brian Heruela
Heruela is old already and not the sexiest name to get in a trade. Still, he is playable and can be part of the rotation. He can cover 50% of the value of Suerte and in my eyes a 1st round pick of TNT can cover 60% of Rey's trade value.
Fair - Rey Suerte for Justin Chua
Chua was supposed to be the back-up for JP Erram but he is also injured. Even with his injury though, I still see him with equal value to Rey. He is a bigman who can be positive on both ends of the court.
Loss - Rey Suerte for Brian Heruela and Carl Bryan Cruz
The worst scenario for Blackwater is if they are again force to get veteran players for a promising young player like Suerte. CBC is a capable player but with his injury history and his age, combining him with Brian is not enough.
