It is quite surprising that Robert Bolick is still not playing in the PBA. With how big his contract was in Japan B League, it is not surprising if Northport is not capable of giving him a big one.
Snow Badua hinted recently that Marcio Lassiter could be the main return for Robert. Of course, a one-on-one trade is not fair. So, in the point of view of Northport, what could be the Farm-team trade, realistic trade and a win trade for them?
Farm-team trade
Marcio Lassiter and Rodney Brondial for Robert Bolick
The ultimate farm team trade will be for Northport to accept a soon-to-retire but still capable sniper and an undersize center for a top 10 player in the league. With the name value of Marcio, fans and analysts will have an avenue to defend this trade.
Realistic trade
Marcio Lassiter, Chris Ross
One potential trade that could make it even easier to defend is to use the two legends of San Miguel. With those two known names, fans and analysts can just used their past accomplishments to defend the trade.
Win trade
Jeron Teng, Marcio Lassiter, Moala Tautuaa
San Miguel also wins in this exchange knowing that Jeron was signed as Unrestricted free agent. But for Northport, this is a win also. I can see Jeron matching up 1/3 of the trade value of Robert. Moala Tautuaa can match the 50% of Robert's trade value. While Marcio can cover 25%. That means Northport will win by a little bit.
