PBA FREE AGENCY: Top 3 teams that should target the Letran bigman!

 

Northport Batang Pier is ready to showcase the trio of players they recently acquired through a series of significant trades last week.

The team has activated Allyn Bulanadi, Kris Rosales, and big man Ben Adamos for their upcoming PBA Commissioner’s Cup match against the Phoenix Fuel Masters, set to take place on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

In order to accommodate the new arrivals, Northport has moved Jesper Ayaay, Christian Balagasay, and Jeepy Faundo to the unrestricted free agency list, while still retaining their salary rights.

Previously, the Batang Pier had traded Bolick and Kent Salado to the Road Warriors, receiving in return Don Trollano, Rosales, Adamos, and a second-round pick in the Season 49 draft.

Following this, the team transferred Trollano to the Beermen, securing Bulanadi, Faundo, and a second-round pick in the Season 51 draft as part of the deal.

Christian Balagasay, a young big man in the PBA, may not be the most polished player, but his potential for growth makes him an interesting prospect for teams willing to invest time in his development. Here are the top three teams that should consider adding Balagasay to their roster:

1. Meralco Bolts: The Meralco Bolts currently have Brandon Bates in their frontline rotation. However, their future lineup in this position is relatively thin. Adding Balagasay could provide the Bolts with a young, developing player who could potentially bolster their frontline in the future.

2. Barangay Ginebra San Miguel: Ginebra boasts the talented center duo of Christian Standhardinger and Japeth Aguilar. However, beyond these two, the team lacks depth in the center position.
