One of the respected Twitter PBA insider just posted that Converge is about to make another move. We just saw them trade Jerrick Balanza. I wonder what will be their next trade!
It is quite easy to assume that Converge is on their way to take the #1 pick of the upcoming draft. So, it is logical to expect that their next move is connected to this.
So, which one?
#3. Trade Jeo Ambohot for another 1st round pick?
Jeo is the most prominent Fiber Xers in the rumor mill in the past several months. Will they finally trade him to get something in return? I think the most logical target is another first round pick that they can use to get one more of their Pampanga homegrown players.
#2. Trade for Encho Serrano
It is still mind-boggling why Converge has not consummated a trade for Encho. Maybe, they do not want him yet because they want to tank. Now that the #1 pick is almost secured. The time may have come for the trade to happen.
#1. Trade another veteran
I think the likeliest trade is another small one. They still have several veterans in the roster that they can trade to get a 2nd round pick or two.
