MPBL Power Ranking: Which team is the San Miguel Beermen of MPBL?

Here is our initial power ranking!

Championship Contenders:

Pampanga - They still have one of the strongest line-up in the league and the best player in MPBL, right now. They should be here.
Zamboanga - With the Marcelino twins leading the way and with a proven head coach in Louie Alas, Zamboanga deserved a seat here with their current undefeated 5-0 card.
San Juan - They are currently 4-0 and #1 in terms of scoring and assists. Scoring is a good sign of the level of talent of a team, specially in a league like MPBL. AC Soberano is the craziest shooter right now iwth 4 makes a game.
Manila - If the Greg Slaughter rumor will truly happen, then Manila should be here. Also, Carl Bryan Cruz looks fine in MPBL.
Davao Occidental - They are currently at 3-1. Not undefeated but they have a hell of a roster. They are currently 2nd in three-pointers made per game and they have size with Kelly Nabong and Yutien Andrada their.

Dark Horse Championship Hopeful
Rizal - Their 4-1 card is impressive but they are not really putting up a super amazing team stats right now. Although, if Alwyn Alday can keep this up, there could be something here.
Paranaque - They have a 5-1 card but I wonder if they are benefiting by a good number of home games so far.
Binan - According to the stats page of MPBL, they are currently #1 in terms of Points against. That means their defense is pretty strong. With big PBA veteran names in their line-up, their could be something here.
Nueva Ecija - Nueva Ecija has a roster of proven winners in the MPBL. With Will McAlloney, MJ Ayaay and Rob Celiz leading them. They also have a good size with the presence of JB Bahio and Vince Magbuhos.
South Cotabato - What makes South Cotabato a very interesting team is the number of shooters in their line-up headed by Kyle Tolentino and John Wilson. Size wise, they have it also.

Playoff Contenders
Batangas - They have a good line-up with Levi Hernandez and Ablaza leading the charged.
Quezon Huskers - They are currently 3-0 by being a defensive oriented team. They are 2nd in rebounds and #9 in Points Allowed. In terms of firepower, they are waiting for the supposed arrival of Gab Banal to join Will Gozum.
Valenzuela - JR Quinahan is the biggest name in their roster but they also have intrigue because of the presence of CJ Payawal.
Bataan - Bataan do not have a team full of recognizable names but they are playing good basketball. They are 3rd in points per game and 5th in assists per game. Will Mark Acuno finally find his groove here?
Abra - They have a 3-3 card right now but I think they are just on the process of getting their chemistry. They have the talent with Mac Tallo, Clint Escamis and Prince Caperal.

Playoff Hopefuls
Caloocan - They are currently 3rd in Points Against and they have a good depth of veteran bigs with Cervantes, Espinas and Matias.
Pasay - Pasay has a 3-2 card at the writing of this article. With Warren Bonifacio having an awesome play, Pasay is capable of reaching the playoffs.
Negros - Negros decided to build a roster with athletic guards and with good enough size. They should hope that Jem Cruz continue to be a gem for them.
Bacolod - Bacolod is off to a bad start and I think the absence of Alex Cabagnot, Rashawn McCarthy and Louie Vigil is a big factor to that.
Mindoro - With Paul Desiderio playing well and with a good number of PBA veterans led by Justin Melton, do not sleep on Mindoro.
