PBA Power Ranking: Top 3 Head Coaches on the HOT SEAT!

NLEX Road Warriors set the tone for the off-season with the departure of coach Frankie Lim and the arrival of Jong Uichico. Now, whispers abound about which coaches might be next on the chopping block. Here are three names currently feeling the heat:

#3. Magnolia Hotshots - Coach Chito Victolero

Coach Chito Victolero's tenure with the Magnolia Hotshots has been a successful one by most standards.  However, whispers of a potential change are growing louder after another season without a championship.  The pressure is on for Victolero to deliver a title, especially considering the talent on the Magnolia roster.  Another disappointing finish could force the management's hand and lead to a change in leadership.

#2. Terrafirma Dyip - Coach John Cardel

Terrafiama Dyip's surprise playoff appearance this season deserves credit.  However, for a team with championship aspirations, Coach John Cardel might not be the long-term solution.  While the playoffs were a positive step, basketball logic suggests Terrafirma might need a coaching change to truly compete for a title.

#1. San Miguel Beermen - Coach Jorge Gallent

This might come as a surprise, but Coach Jorge Gallent finds himself on the hot seat despite his commendable efforts with San Miguel Beermen.  The reason? The sheer weight of expectation that comes with coaching a team like SMB.  Despite Gallent's solid performance, anything less than a championship is considered a failure for the Beermen.  Their status as heavy favorites this season only intensifies the scrutiny.
