Here is our first mock draft for the 2025 PBA draft!
#1 NOR Thirdy/Tamayo/Ramos/Abando - Just like the way RJ surprised us this year, I think one of these four will follow soon. They are legit International league players.
#2 NLEX Quentin Millora-Brown - His signing with UP Fighting Maroons was a shocker. He can only play one season there which means PBA will be an option by 2025.
#3 XERS Michael Phillips - His older brother is now in the PBA. I expect Phillips to be have PBA as one of his primary options too. He is an elite energetic bigman.
#4 DYIP DJ Fenner - In a loaded Strong Group Athletics squad, DJ still managed to come up with an impressive showing. He seems to be a 3-and-D versatile forward.
#5 BWE Jason Brickman - With old Filipino-Foreigners managing to still be at a high picks, I think Brickman will keep PBA as an option. I am a big fan of his game.
#6 PHX CJ Lane - He has built up hype already for being part of mock drafts in the last three years. Will this 6'10 bigman finally join?
#7 ROS Juan Gomez de Liano - He once said that he wants to join the PBA draft. I understand that Javi left the PBA but I think Juan can still try it to experience it himself.
#8 ROS Geo Chiu - It is hard to teach size. I also love that Geo wants to try the International league. I hope he learns a lot there.
#9 BGSM Robin Duncan - Another Filipino-Foreigner on the radar of the PBA. Players like him can take advantage of the 4-point shot rule.
#10 SMB Chris Koon - Chris is a high basketball-IQ wing player. If he is really around 6'5, he can become a very tall wing in the league.
#11 MER LJ Gonzales - I am shocked that LJ decided not to take part of the 2024 draft. LJ is a capable point guard that can be a starter in the PBA.
#12 MAG Will Gozum - Will decided not to join the draft because of his injury. If he can fully recover, Will can be a viable target deep into the 1st round.
